By downloading, installing, or using Chaos Studies ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Chaos Studies is an application for iOS, macOS, and Playdate that provides interactive visualizations of strange attractors—mathematical patterns that emerge from chaotic dynamical systems. The App provides:

• Real-time 3D visualization of nine different strange attractors
• Interactive controls (touch, crank, motion)
• Generative audio synthesis (iOS/macOS)
• Light and dark display modes
• Motion parallax effects

3. System Requirements

The App requires:

• iOS: iOS 15.0 or later
• macOS: macOS 12.0 (Monterey) or later
• Playdate: Playdate handheld console with current firmware

4. Privacy and Data

The App operates with minimal data collection:

• No personal data is transmitted to external servers
• Motion sensor data is used only for real-time parallax effects
• All settings and configurations are stored locally on your device

5. Permissions

The App may request the following permissions:

• Motion & Accelerometer (iOS): Optional permission for parallax effects

You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device's system settings.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, visualizations, and audio, is the intellectual property of Field Bureau & Werkstatt LLC. The mathematical equations for strange attractors are in the public domain; our specific implementation and presentation are protected.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without explicit written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Device compatibility issues
• Visual or audio playback issues
• Battery consumption
• Data loss or corruption

8. Health Considerations

The App displays animated visual content. If you are sensitive to flashing lights or motion, please use the App with caution. We recommend taking breaks during extended use.

9. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

• Ensuring device compatibility
• Using the App in accordance with these Terms
• Managing audio volume at safe levels

10. Updates and Changes
